The route in

Before the clinic, there was twenty years of academic research — a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, an MSc in Health Psychology, a long career asking what helps people thrive. Alongside that I trained and competed in sport, and taught yoga for years.

Then came my own injuries. Proper ones. And the journey of sitting on the other side of the treatment couch. That's what led me here — a growing appreciation that the best recovery work sits at the intersection of hands-on skill, solid clinical reasoning, and knowing the person in front of you.

How I approach sessions

Every session is led by sports massage therapy and tailored to you. For some people, hands-on treatment alone is enough. For others, I integrate clinical tools where appropriate — dry needling, western medical acupuncture, clinical dry cupping, IASTM, and advanced kinesiology taping.

Alongside treatment, I'll give you targeted exercise and mobility guidance. What we achieve in clinic only matters if it translates into lasting improvement in how you move, function, and feel in your body between sessions.

Working with Daisy on complex cases

For more complex or longer-term issues, I collaborate with rehabilitation coach Daisy Hornby-Peters at NLFitness. With your consent, we create a joined-up rehabilitation and recovery plan that combines hands-on therapy with progressive strength and conditioning — giving you the best possible outcome.

Entire-body-systems thinking

What I'm really doing is thinking about your whole body, not an isolated ailment. Physical health very often translates what's going on elsewhere in your life — sleep, load, stress, past experience of pain. My job is to take that seriously, and to work with you in a way that honours it.
